CNIYEF members had the pleasure to meet and interact with Hon. Gamini Peiris, former Cabinet Minister of External Affairs and a former member of the Parliament of Sri Lanka and also the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Colombo. Mr. Peiris shared his experiences in politics and explained how Sri Lanka and Nepal are very similar politically. He applauded Nirvana Chaudhary for Chaudhary Group’s investment in Sri Lanka starting from the time when the market saw no confidence among investors. Mr. Peiris also talked about businesses and industries that are thriving in Sri Lanka and what Nepal can learn from them. It was a remarkable experience for CNIYEF members to learn and network with Honorary Mr. Gamini Peiris.
